A publication built around addresses, All the Places that Made Me.. Me (places) is an introspective project tracing back Li’s personal journey, from his childhood home, to college apartments; from corporate office to his creative space. These are all the addresses that made him who he is, and serve as the reasons that he does what he does - which is to create.
As a form experiement, the contents were hand drawn on envelopes instead of paper, and those envelopes were stitched together to form an exposed spine text block, finished with covers made from USPS boxes. The decision to use envelopes as medium is to align with the address concept, while the hand drawn aesthetic is to communicate a sense of personal connection. A red and blue color tone was adapted to complete the postal theme.
